TKDA is hiring a Summer Civil Engineering Intern for its Surface Transportation team in Bloomington, Minnesota. The intern will work with professional engineers and technicians on transportation infrastructure projects, assisting with traffic-data collection, intersection and corridor evaluations, simulation and modeling analyses, preliminary designs, and construction plans for traffic signals, construction staging, maintenance of traffic, and signing and striping. The role is intended for an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an interest in traffic or transportation engineering, requires Microsoft Office proficiency, and may involve office or project-site work with occasional flexible or hybrid arrangements. The internship is scheduled for mid-May through mid-August 2026, with the formal interview process beginning in late October.
