Description
Terracon is hiring an Engineering Intern for its Cedar Rapids, Iowa office during the summer, with work from May through August and Co-Ops available through December. The intern will perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials; transport samples; prepare and submit reports; communicate results to project managers and other stakeholders; maintain equipment and work areas; assist with technician scheduling and dispatch; and follow safety and quality standards. The role is performed under close supervision and includes progressively increased responsibility, with a high school diploma or equivalent and pursuit of a civil or construction engineering degree required.
