Description
The Summer Internship provides exposure to tax, audit, and accounting work in public accounting, including QuickBooks, client accounting, sales-tax and payroll-tax returns, employee-benefit audits, 1040 preparation, shadowing staff accountants, and additional projects. Candidates must be junior or entering senior-year students pursuing a 150-credit bachelor's degree in Accounting, available Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. from mid-June through the end of July, and have strong communication skills and a drive to begin a public-accounting career. The program pays $20.00 to $30.00 per hour.
