LREI is hiring an Associate Camp Counselor for its summer day camp in the West Village, serving children aged 4 to 13 from June 29 through August 7. The role supports the Head Counselor by creating a safe and engaging group environment, leading art, games, cooking, and projects, supervising field trips, communicating with counselors and administrators, and collaborating with other staff. Applicants need a college degree in progress or completed, education or arts background, experience in an educational or camp program, group-activity leadership ability, and effective communication skills; a creative-discipline background is preferred. First Aid Certification is required and provided during orientation. Compensation is $2,000–$3,400 for the camp season, dependent on experience.
