Description
The Construction Superintendent plans, directs, and coordinates construction and maintenance activities for structures, facilities, and systems. Responsibilities include establishing safety culture, monitoring contractors and compliance with OSHA, environmental, building, and safety codes, scheduling and budgeting, inspecting projects, investigating incidents and delays, preparing contracts, and implementing quality control. The role requires at least five years of Superintendent experience or a bachelor’s degree with three years of relevant experience, electrical experience, federal background-check and military badging eligibility, and the ability to perform physically demanding construction-site work.
