Description
The New York City Department of Homeless Services is recruiting one Superintendent of Adult Institutions to oversee the day-to-day operations of adult shelter systems, including compliance with agency standards, security oversight, fire safety, and programs serving social, medical, mental health, occupational, and substance abuse needs. The role also evaluates program effectiveness, participates in policy and community-board planning, and serves as Deputy Director of Operations when absent. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with regular day off on Friday and Saturday.
