Description
The Healthcare Construction Superintendent manages daily on-site construction operations for healthcare projects, including hospitals, clinics, operating rooms, and other medical facilities. The role coordinates subcontractors and suppliers, enforces safety, infection-control, and hospital regulations, resolves field issues, tracks schedules and budgets, maintains records, and communicates with project managers, hospital staff, and inspectors. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least seven years of construction superintendent and supervisory experience, medical-project leadership experience, OSHA and ASHE ICRA certifications, blueprint-reading ability, and a valid unrestricted driver’s license.
