Nelson Construction & Development is hiring a full-time Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects ranging from $1M to $30M across multifamily, senior living, behavioral health, hospitality, municipal, commercial, and mixed-use sectors in Iowa and surrounding Midwest markets. The role manages subcontractors, safety, schedules, quality, inspections, deliveries, site logistics, documentation, and project readiness while coordinating with the Project Manager and Director of Field Operations. Candidates need at least five years of commercial construction field experience, strong construction-document and coordination knowledge, leadership and communication skills, and OSHA 30-hour or First Aid and CPR certification; the position offers a salary of $85,000–$120,000 plus benefits and performance-based bonuses.
