Description
OceanaGold is hiring a Senior Electrical Construction Manager to oversee electrical construction for the leach plant circuit expansion, paste plant, and surface facilities supporting underground projects at its Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina. The role manages contractors and electrical workers, coordinates with project managers, engineers, vendors, and operations teams, ensures compliance with electrical codes and safety requirements, troubleshoots electrical issues, supports project start-up and transition to operations, and maintains project records and communication. The position requires 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior electrical construction role, trade qualifications or an engineering degree, MSHA training, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts in a surface mine plant environment.
