OceanaGold is hiring an Underground Development Engineer to establish and manage underground development and infrastructure construction activities for the Ledbetter Underground (LUG) Project at Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina. The role coordinates contractors and mine management, maintains project schedules and forecasts, reviews construction drawings and specifications, supports budget and performance reporting, and oversees health, safety, and environmental compliance. A bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field is required, while 7–10 years of underground experience, scheduling software experience, and civil or mining construction experience are preferred.
