The City of New Haven is hiring a full-time Supervising Librarian for professional library work involving supervision of a service area or specialized subject area. The role develops programs and services, manages materials and budgets, coordinates community outreach, delivers library programs, coaches and supervises staff, and ensures compliance with policies and laws. Applicants need a Master’s degree in Library Science, three to five years of professional library experience, and at least one year of supervisory experience. The position is Special Funded and contingent on future funding, with an annualized salary of $70,596–$78,018 and medical and dental benefits.
