Description
SpaceX is hiring a hands-on Supervisor, Development for its Starshield team in Hawthorne, California. The role supervises technicians and specialists building spacecraft, including satellite production, precision machining, wire harnessing, assembly, manufacturing-line maintenance, ground support equipment and HASS chamber preventive maintenance, and integration and testing. The supervisor will plan and assign work, mentor staff, enforce documentation, quality, safety, COMSEC, and regulatory procedures, and address production and resource problems. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year leading teams or projects, and at least two years of technical hands-on experience in aerospace, aviation, marine, or automotive industries. It is an onsite, first-shift role with up to 10% travel and a salary of $115,000–$155,000 yearly, plus comprehensive benefits.
