Description
ERCOT is hiring a Supervisor, Dynamic Studies - System Planning to lead a team performing system-wide dynamic stability assessments for transmission planning. The role oversees engineers conducting transient and electromagnetic transient studies, coordinates NERC and ERCOT-mandated assessments, develops dynamic planning cases, supports transmission solutions and interconnection activities, and provides technical analysis and recommendations. It requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, at least five years of planning or system operations experience beyond degree requirements, and strong knowledge of power system dynamics and modeling; PSSE, TSAT, or PSCAD experience is preferred. The expected salary range is $144,000 to $198,000.
