Description
The Emergency Department Supervisor oversees Emergency Technicians, Unit Secretaries, and Patient Safety Technicians; schedules and approves staff, provides education and NVCI certification instruction, oversees orientation and competency completion, manages inventory and supplies, and monitors safety, infection control, and patient satisfaction. The role requires an H.S. Diploma or equivalent, two years of related clinical experience, AHA BLS Healthcare certification, and either current San Diego County EMT certification or current Paramedic certification with NVCI instructor status within six months of hire. The position offers variable shifts, as-needed weekend work, and an hourly pay range of $25.00 to $34.40.
