Freeport-McMoRan is hiring a smelter production supervisor to assign and supervise staff, implement production schedules, inspect work in progress, evaluate subordinate performance, prepare staffing and material estimates, maintain inventory, approve purchases, and train employees in safety procedures. The role is based at the Miami smelter and rod plant near Phoenix, requires a high school diploma or GED with five years of related operational experience including supervisory or lead experience, or a technical mining-related bachelor’s degree with relevant internship and supervisory experience, and offers a base salary of $87,500 to $120,000 annually.
