Description
Vast is hiring a full-time Supervisor, Environmental Testing for its Long Beach facility. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Environmental Testing, the role leads a technician team supporting the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations, including coordinating manufacturing work, training new employees, optimizing avionics manufacturing, participating in design reviews, supporting quality control, maintaining laboratory and workshop conditions, and interpreting technical drawings. The position requires at least five years of professional technical experience, three years of leadership experience, three years of vibration and shock testing experience, manufacturing experience under an AS9100 or ISO9001 quality system, and a high school diploma or equivalent. The first-shift schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime or weekend work available, and the base salary is $96,760–$137,352 USD.
