The role focuses on coaching and managing staff, explaining pension plan eligibility and benefits, assisting with benefit applications and retirement options, processing complex benefit inquiries and appeals, preparing correspondence and reports, and maintaining high standards of customer service, professionalism, and confidentiality. The position requires at least two years of benefits field experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to travel including overnight stays.
