Description
The Supervisor, Grounds supervises and performs daily operational maintenance for campus buildings, grounds, and landscaping. Responsibilities include coordinating employee assignments, monitoring outside contractors, overseeing turf, irrigation, landscape, and groundskeeping equipment, providing safety training, supporting the facilities budget, enforcing college policies, and serving as Acting Manager, Facilities when needed. The role requires an associate degree in a related field, at least two years of experience, a valid driver’s license and insurance, and 24/7 on-call availability; chemical applicator licensing is preferred. The position involves physical work, including lifting equipment weighing 50 pounds or more, and occasional work in extreme weather or hazardous conditions.
