Description
The Laboratory Services Supervisor performs standardized and specialized clinical laboratory assays, supervises technical and laboratory staff, manages the section administratively, and oversees instrument operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing. The role also handles the departmental budget, employee relationships, customer service, performance improvement, and communication across departments, with 24/7 accountability for dual campuses. The position requires a bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or an equivalent discipline, at least three years of clinical laboratory scientist experience, a valid California clinical laboratory scientist license or limited license, and Microsoft Office knowledge; five years of experience and laboratory accreditation experience are preferred. The salary range is $110,000 to $160,000.
