The Blow Molding Setup Supervisor manages direct reports and oversees timely plant start-ups, mold changes, and set-up department operations at Silgan’s Houston facility. The role coordinates with management, shift supervisors, operators, quality personnel, engineering, customer service, and manufacturing management; maintains spare parts inventory; trains employees; monitors performance and attendance; and supports plant operations during off hours. It requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of blow-molding facility experience, knowledge of Bekum, Fischer, or Kautex blow molders, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, basic electrical knowledge, and a forklift license.
