Vertex is hiring a Media and Buffer Preparation Supervisor in Boston, Massachusetts to lead daily media, buffer, and stock solution preparation for media development and cell therapy manufacturing. The role oversees scheduling, troubleshooting, staffing, quality, GMP/GMP-ready compliance, safety, documentation, investigations, CAPAs, and team development, while supporting scale-up, manufacturing readiness, automation, and continuous improvement. The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree with seven years of industry experience or a master's degree with six years of industry experience, along with practical biopharmaceutical operations and hands-on leadership experience. It is an on-site role requiring five days per week, with a base salary of $104,000 to $156,000 and eligibility for an annual bonus and equity awards.
