Description
The Process/Production Engineer provides engineering-level support for Louisville Water’s treatment plants, distribution pumping stations, and other facilities. The role manages operator training, process-control troubleshooting, water-production emergencies, water-quality data, regulatory compliance, capital projects, contractor oversight, chemical inventories, equipment maintenance coordination, performance measures, and safety programs. It also includes direct supervision of assigned employees and requires a relevant engineering bachelor’s degree, five years of process or production engineering or plant-operation experience, and the ability to obtain specified Kentucky licenses and hazardous-material certification.
