Description
The Long Beach Community College District is hiring a full-time Supervisor, Purchasing and Contracts to lead districtwide purchasing and contract operations, including competitive bidding, formal bid specifications, purchase orders, contracts, RFQs, and RFPs. The role supervises and evaluates procurement personnel, coordinates compliance with applicable laws and policies, and assists in developing purchasing and contracting procedures. The position is based at the Liberal Arts Campus but supports both campuses, requires a bachelor’s degree and three years of increasingly responsible purchasing or public-agency contract experience, and offers an annual salary of $88,940 to $121,179.
