Description
The Long Beach Community College District is hiring a full-time Supervisor, Purchasing and Contracts to lead districtwide purchasing and contract operations, including competitive bidding, formal bids, purchase orders, RFQs, and RFPs. The role supervises and evaluates procurement personnel, develops bid specifications, coordinates compliance with applicable laws and policies, and supports purchasing policy development. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years of increasingly responsible purchasing or public-agency contract experience, including one year in a lead role, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. The position is based at the Liberal Arts Campus but supports both campuses, with a Monday-Friday schedule and an annual salary of $88,940 to $121,179.
