Description
The Medical Coding QA Supervisor will lead the quality assurance team responsible for auditing Same Day Surgery and Observation coding. The role oversees audit operations, monitors coding quality and compliance, develops QA policies, provides training and mentoring, resolves escalated coding cases, analyzes audit trends, and supports coding projects. Candidates need active CPC, CCS, or equivalent certification, at least five years of medical coding experience including two years in SDS and Observation, and at least two years of supervisory or lead QA experience.
