Avid Bioservices is hiring a Microbiology Quality Control Manager to oversee microbiological testing and quality-control activities in a GMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization. The role includes writing and approving protocols and reports, leading microbiological and environmental monitoring investigations, performing bioburden, growth promotion, sterility, and gram-stain testing, preparing trending reports, training employees, and directing functional areas. It requires a B.S. in Microbiology or a related field, at least five years of GMP microbiology laboratory experience, and knowledge of cGMP, USP, EP, and Annex 1. The position is full-time and onsite, Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with overtime and weekend availability, and offers a base salary of $67,200 to $84,000 annually plus bonuses and benefits.
