Description
ERCOT is hiring a Transmission Planning Manager to lead a team responsible for independent reviews of transmission system upgrade projects, steady-state power flow contingency analyses, Notice of Suspension of Operation evaluations, and related reliability and process improvements. The role also mentors engineers and analysts, serves as a technical expert, communicates analysis results to stakeholders and management, and prepares reports and testimony for regulatory and board audiences. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, at least five years of job-related experience, and preferably one year of leadership experience; Python simulation-automation experience and NERC reliability knowledge are preferred. The expected salary range is $144,000 to $198,000.
