Description
The role supervises the day-to-day operations of the Specimen Processing and phlebotomy sections of a clinical laboratory, including planning, staffing, payroll, scheduling, inventory control, specimen collection and processing, patient information management, and accountability for reliable laboratory results. It requires an associate's degree in a related field, five years of phlebotomy and specimen-processing experience, one year of supervisory experience, and either an Amer Medical Technologists or Amer Soc Clinical Pathology license; a bachelor's degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
