Description
The S.P.D. Supervisor assists with performance appraisals, evaluates employee performance, provides feedback, and oversees S.P.D. Technicians I and II and an Inventory Control Clerk. The role supports continuous quality improvement, quality training and orientation, task allocation, scheduling, efficient use of equipment and supplies, and high-quality health-care service delivery. It requires three years of Sterile Processing or Surgery experience, a high school education or equivalent, completion of instrument checklist I and II, and current Sterile Processing Technician certification with the ability to obtain the required CSPDT or CRCST certification within one year of employment.
