Description

The Air Traffic Manager serves as the manager of an ATC-8 level terminal facility, directing operational and support personnel who provide air traffic control services. The role plans and directs facility activities, reviews work processes, trains and coaches subordinates, assigns work, evaluates performance, resolves grievances, handles disciplinary matters, approves personnel and overtime expenses, and coordinates with military, civilian, industry, government, union, and contractor representatives. The position reports to a General Manager or Assistant General Manager and requires U.S. citizenship, Selective Service registration for eligible males, and at least one year of specified FAA or Air Traffic Services experience.
