Description
The FAA Maintenance Supervisor leads and directs assigned maintenance staff, plans and implements aircraft maintenance and inspection programs, develops technical manuals and procedures, manages budgets and resources, and makes airworthiness determinations. The role requires an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate, at least one year of specialized experience in aircraft maintenance, budgeting, or aircraft inspection programs, and, as a selective placement factor, experience overseeing or leading Quality Management System or Quality Assurance Representative activities for a qualifying 14 CFR Part 121 or 135 operation.
