Description
The position is a first-level engineering supervisor for an Operations Flight, responsible for planning, directing, organizing, and controlling nonsupervisory employees; managing the Flight’s activities, budget, work classification system, and external communications; and coordinating with higher headquarters, regulatory agencies, installation units, and community officials. The role requires U.S. citizenship, at least one year of specialized engineering experience, and either an engineering degree or an alternative education-and-experience combination; professional engineering registration or licensure is desired but not required. The work may involve travel, driving, shift work, emergency response, and access to construction or base areas.
