Description

The Chief, Environmental Division serves as a senior staff consultant on environmental program requirements for a large multi-mission installation within the Installation Management Command. The role directs installation-wide environmental programs, establishes policies and sustainability initiatives, oversees compliance audits and training, advises command leadership on regulatory and mission risks, represents the garrison to regulatory agencies and Federally Recognized Tribes, and supervises a multidisciplinary workforce. The position requires specialized experience managing environmental programs, advising leadership on compliance, negotiating compliance agreements, managing budgets, and leading an environmental workforce, and may require temporary duty travel.
