Description
The Chief, Manpower and Organization serves as a first-level supervisor for manpower and organization analysis, improvement, and innovation across assigned organizations, functions, and work processes. The role plans and directs Manpower Office operations, advises commanders and senior managers on manpower requirements, organizational structure, workload, program cost, resource use, outsourcing, and related issues, and represents the Manpower Office with installation organizations and higher headquarters. Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02 or equivalent GS-11 level, U.S. citizenship, Selective Service registration, and the appropriate security clearance; the position may require travel, nonstandard hours, and emergency overtime.
