Description
The Supervisory Park Ranger (Interpretation) will lead interpretation, education, visitor services, and program development at Pipestone National Monument while supervising permanent and seasonal staff, volunteers, and interns. The role includes recruiting, training, evaluating employees, developing interpretive media, securing funding, supporting tribal and nonprofit partnerships, and maintaining knowledge of the park’s cultural and natural resources. It is a GS-11 supervisory position requiring specialized experience or qualifying graduate education, U.S. citizenship or nationality, background investigation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
