Applied Materials is hiring a Supplier Account Manager in Bangalore to manage strategic supplier relationships for advanced materials such as ceramics, graphite, and quartz. The role covers supplier qualification, capacity and risk assessments, KPI monitoring, alternate sourcing, commercial negotiations, supplier introductions and disengagements, and resolution of supply-chain issues affecting cost, quality, delivery, and lead time. It requires an engineering degree, strong negotiation and communication skills, technical-drawing ability, and 10+ years of relevant manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, supply-chain, or project-management experience, with 5+ years of large-scale supplier negotiation experience. The position is full time, requires approximately 20% travel, and is eligible for relocation.
