1X is hiring a Supplier Development Engineer for Die Casting to own supplier industrialization and quality readiness for structural components used in its humanoid robot NEO. The role partners with engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to develop casting, machining, finishing, and assembly processes; support APQP and PPAP; manage supplier quality risks; and improve yield and process performance. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, at least six years of supplier quality, manufacturing quality, supplier development, or manufacturing engineering experience, and expertise in die casting, GD&T, metrology, and quality systems. The position offers $133,000–$195,000 per year and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
