SpaceX is hiring a Supplier Development Engineer, Materials & Special Processes for its Falcon and Dragon programs. The role supports outsourced special processes and consumables, including paints, adhesives, chemicals, thin-film coatings, chemical processing, and plating; it involves supplier quality, defect resolution, design-for-manufacturing reviews, new-product-introduction and PPAP management, supplier vetting, and cross-functional problem solving. The position is based onsite in Hawthorne, California, requires up to 40–50% travel, and offers a base salary of $100,000–$117,500 at Level 1 or $115,000–$140,000 at Level 2, along with medical, vision, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
