1X is hiring a Supplier Development Engineer for Motors & Magnets to own the industrialization and quality readiness of critical motion-system components for its humanoid robot NEO. The role partners with engineering, sourcing, and supplier partners to develop manufacturing processes, execute APQP and PPAP, reduce supplier quality escapes, and improve supplier performance. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, at least six years of supplier quality, manufacturing quality, supplier development, or manufacturing engineering experience, and expertise in motor and magnet manufacturing, supplier industrialization, and quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, and GD&T. The position offers $133,000–$195,000 per year plus equity and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
