Description
Textron Systems is hiring a Supplier Development Engineer to develop and manage external suppliers across mechanical and/or electrical parts and assemblies. The role focuses on supplier assessments, source qualification, manufacturing readiness, quality and inspection requirements, risk assessments, supplier performance analysis, and cross-functional coordination with engineering, procurement, and quality teams. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least two years of design experience and five years of quality, manufacturing, or supply chain engineering experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. The position reports to the Manager of Supplier Development and requires travel to supplier locations at least 30% of the time.
