Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Welding Supplier Engineer in Bangalore to develop, qualify, and continuously improve welding and fabrication processes across its global supplier base. The role covers supplier onboarding, welding procedure compliance, technical audits, quality issue resolution, root-cause analysis, supplier performance monitoring, data analysis, and continuous improvement for precision welded assemblies used in semiconductor equipment. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering field, at least seven years of hands-on welding experience, and expertise in GTAW, GMAW, EBW, LBW, brazing, metallurgy, and heat treatment. The position requires 30–50% domestic and international travel and offers relocation eligibility.
