Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Supplier Engineer (E3) in Santa Clara, California, to lead supplier quality, technical development, and operational excellence initiatives across its machining and contract manufacturing supply base. The role serves as the primary technical interface for suppliers, leads corrective-action and root-cause investigations, conducts audits and process evaluations, supports new product introductions, manages supplier performance and risk, and mentors junior engineers. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, at least seven years of supplier engineering or related experience, knowledge of semiconductor and advanced material characterization techniques, and up to 30% domestic and international travel.
