Description
Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Quality Welding Engineer in Penang, Malaysia, to support the fabrication of ultra-high-purity gas delivery systems for semiconductor process equipment. The role owns weld quality across the fabrication lifecycle, including WPS/PQR development, welder qualification, orbital GTAW equipment qualification, cleanroom contamination control, visual and boroscopic inspection, metallurgical oversight of 316L stainless steel, and root-cause resolution. The position requires at least five years of relevant welding engineering or weld quality experience, SEMI standards knowledge, and experience in a certified cleanroom manufacturing environment.
