Description
The Supplier Quality Engineer at Coherent Corp. manages supplier quality monitoring and non-conformance handling, qualifies and improves suppliers, supports new products with engineering and supply chain management, and drives permanent resolution of vendor quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions. The role requires an engineering bachelor’s degree or above, at least three years of supplier quality management or quality control experience, knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, inspection, quality tools, sampling, testing, ISO9001/TL9000 audits, and quality improvement methods.
