Description
The Supplier Quality Engineer supports AM General’s Quality Department during new-model changes, product development, and engineering changes. The role investigates non-conforming parts, manages containment, quarantine, rework, and final disposition, coordinates corrective actions with suppliers and production teams, tracks supplier performance, and supports supply-base improvement. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing technology, or related technical experience, at least five years of relevant experience, and knowledge of AIAG quality tools, GD&T, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949. It operates between an office and manufacturing plant, may require a specific shift, and includes approximately 5 to 10% domestic travel.
