Description

OpenAI is hiring an Operations Program Manager to serve as the single-threaded operational leader for new hardware introductions and production ramps across its AI infrastructure systems. The role owns operational readiness from early bring-up through sustained production, defines operating plans and decision frameworks, aligns engineering, operations, sourcing, finance, capacity planning, and executive stakeholders, manages manufacturing and test readiness, leads cross-functional build and debug activities, oversees factory and deployment ramp readiness, and owns end-to-end risk management. The position requires at least eight years of experience in operations, engineering, program management, or equivalent work within hardware development, manufacturing, or supply chain domains, along with expertise in complex hardware NPI programs, manufacturing and supply chain fundamentals, cross-functional leadership, and communication with executive and external audiences.
