Description
The Aerospace Procurement Manager coordinates sourcing, operations, design engineering, suppliers, and industry experts to support the design, production, testing, and qualification of aerospace and defense products. The role analyzes technical data and supplier capabilities, recommends suppliers and design changes, facilitates trade-offs and standardization, and leads cross-functional teams on producibility, quality, inspection, cost, reliability, and affordability. It requires airframe and major-subsystem experience, supplier and contract experience, technical-documentation proficiency, problem-solving and project-management experience, and at least 75% weekly domestic travel to supplier facilities in the Southeast United States. The position is based in Marietta, Georgia, requires United States citizenship, and offers a full-time salary range of $85,300 to $158,300 plus benefits.
