Description
Agnico Eagle is hiring an Open Pit Drilling and Blasting Engineer to report to the Supervisor, Open Pit Engineering. The role designs drilling, blasting, and tie-in connection plans; collects seismic data from blasts; follows site drill-and-blast specifications; and supports health and safety activities. The position requires a college degree in mine engineering or technology or higher, experience with seismographs and seismic data, and knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and mine design software. The schedule is 14 days of work followed by 14 days for transportation and rest, with accommodations and meals provided on site.
