Description

The Administrative Support Officer supports the Administration and Operations Branch at Fort Irwin National Training Center by planning and coordinating activities, managing databases, records, personnel security, classified information, purchase-card tracking, correspondence, briefings, awards, reports, special projects, safety requirements, and emergency contingency operations. The role also serves as a classified documents custodian, publications officer, and assistant supervisory security manager. Applicants must have progressively responsible support-services experience, knowledge of military administrative management, strong communication and writing skills, and the ability to manage recurring reports and electronic databases; two or more years of relevant office or operations experience, team-supervision experience, and Microsoft Office and Teams proficiency are preferred.
