Description
Simon Community Scotland is hiring a Support Worker to provide person-centred, trauma-informed support to people affected by homelessness, addiction, mental health challenges, and trauma. The role helps individuals manage safer substance use, build housing stability, access benefits and services, develop resilience, and maintain safe relationships. It operates on a 24-hour rolling rota across supported accommodation services in North Lanarkshire, including day, late, and night shifts, with some services requiring sleepovers. The position requires an SVQ 3 social care qualification or willingness to work toward it, SSSC registration, relevant experience, and the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
